Acting is, and for some time, has been a very big part of my life.

I hope that I am fortunate enough for it to still be there for many years to come. However, as important as it is to me, it doesn't begin to encompass all that I am. One of the most important aspects in my life is my little brother, David.

Growing up an only child was a great way to hone my imagination.  As great as that was, every year when my parents asked what I wanted for Christmas or my birthday, my answer was always the same..."Can we have a little brother or sister? And if we can't have one, can we adopt one?"

Then, at  12 years old, I finally got the news I had long awaited, my parents were expecting! Since then, my brother and I have grown closer and closer. Through 2 serious illnesses, and the deaths of our parents, we have both grown stronger. Being the only family we have to each other has taught us many lessons. We are as happy as ever and I know that if there is one thing I could come to expect, it would be that he remains a constant in my life.

I remember a story my mom told me of something I said when I was about 4 years old. She said I was watching the Disney channel on television, I turned to her and said "I'm going to be in there someday." Now, what I probably meant at that ripe old age, is that I wanted to go to where ever this magical place was, and play with all my favorite Disney characters. Or maybe I knew, back then, how I wanted to affect the world.

It has been a blessing to be able to pursue something so deeply meaningful to me, as a career. Being able to create and express myself, to me, comes from a place of compassion and love.

The greatest success I will ever have in this business, is      simply knowing that I made the right decision.

To go "confidently" in the direction of my dreams.
